Lower Still - Week 3
Most of us understand why we should submit to God. He's all-powerful, all-knowing, and worthy of our trust. But what happens when Scripture tells us to submit to one another?
This week in Lower Still: Following Jesus Where Surrender Leads, we explore one of the most uncomfortable commands in the New Testament: "Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ" (Ephesians 5:21).
Why would God ask us to lower ourselves for other believers? What do we do when people in the church annoy us, disappoint us, or see things differently than we do? And could it be that our willingness to choose unity, forgiveness, and service reveals more about our faith than we realize?
Join us as we discover that submission isn't about losing your voice—it's about reflecting Christ's heart. When believers choose one another over themselves, the Kingdom of God becomes visible to the world.
Because every time you choose unity over preference, service over comfort, forgiveness over offense, and others over yourself, you're giving the world a preview of the Kingdom that's coming.
