Why do you share your faith? Is it obligation? Guilt? Reputation? Or is it something deeper?

This week in Moved, we continue our journey through 1 Thessalonians and discover the one thing powerful enough to move us beyond comfort and into the mission of Jesus.

Paul reminds the church that the gospel was never meant to be shared for recognition, popularity, personal gain, or religious obligation. Instead, he points to the heart of the gospel itself: love. Just as a mother lovingly gives of herself to care for her child, followers of Jesus are called to give of themselves so others can experience the life-changing hope found in Christ.

If God loved us when we were undeserving, what would happen if we loved others the same way? Could love become the catalyst that moves us from simply attending church to making disciples?
