Why do we show up for church during the holidays... but not always the rest of the year?

According to research, church attendance jumps by 31% during the holiday season. Tradition? Family? Maybe nostalgia? Whatever the reason, something inside us longs for community, for belonging — especially this time of year.

But what if that pull toward church was never meant to be seasonal?

What if church isn’t a building we go to, but a family we belong to?
