Echoes of Glory - Week 3

Dec 21, 2025    Grant Foster

What if the angels’ song was pointing to more than a moment… and more toward a mission?

What if “Glory to God in the highest” wasn’t just something they sang, but something we’re called to carry?

This week we wrap up our series Echoes of Glory: Songs That Changed Everything by stepping into one of the most familiar Christmas scenes—angels, shepherds, and a song we’ve heard our whole lives. But have we ever stopped to ask:

What were the angels really saying?

What were they pointing us toward?

And what does that have to do with us today?

In Luke 2:13–14, we discover that the angels weren’t just announcing Jesus’ birth—they were declaring the weight, the value, and the glory of God breaking into the world. And surprisingly, that same glory isn’t just something God possesses… it’s something we’re invited to reflect.

If you’ve ever wondered:

• Does my life actually point to God?

• Where does my value really come from?

• Can ordinary moments really bring glory to God?

• Is peace possible in the middle of everyday chaos?

…this message is for you.

At Bunker Hill Christian Church, we’re a community learning what it means to live as image-bearers of Christ—not just in songs we sing, but in the lives we live. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or just asking honest questions, you’re welcome here.
