Echoes of Glory - Week 2
Christmas stirs sentimental thoughts—memories of moments, events, and places we hold close. But it can also awaken the memory of endings… of seasons that have quietly closed.
As we continue reflecting on the songs that echoed the glory of God, we’re invited to ask a deeper question: What might God be calling you to let go of so something new can begin?
In Luke 1:68–78, Zechariah’s song doesn’t just celebrate what God has done—it reshapes who God is. Not the God Israel had reduced to expectations, fear, or control, but the God who brings salvation, merciful compassion, and peace. Zechariah proclaims that his son, John the Baptist, would prepare the way—not only for the Messiah, but for a new way of seeing God.
This Christmas, what old assumptions, habits, or images of God might need to be released so we can step into the life He’s inviting us to? At BHCC, our vision is simple: to help people root their lives in Christ, grow together in authentic community, and live out their faith with purpose—right where God has placed them.
